Announcements
Tomorrow, Jeff Davis will start a two-part class on Advance Care Planning at Wesley UMC at 6 pm, and the second session will be on Wednesday, the 24th at 2 pm Jeff will be talking about health care directives and end-of-life choices/hopes. If you are interested in attending, connect with Jeff for more details.
Wednesday, this fall's quarterly book study will begin with Doyle at 10 AM in the Fireside Room.
Next Sunday, we will have a youth group kick-off event for middle school and high school students. This event will be at 4:30 at Wesley United Methodist Church. See Karissa or myself for more details.
Next Sunday following service, Connection Group #3 will be meeting in the Fireside room to do some planning for their upcoming activities.
Joys and Concerns
Pray for the many members of our community who have been impacted by increased immigration enforcement in our community in recent weeks.
Pray for individuals in our community who have been impacted by violence and are grieving and working to heal.
Pray for the deep divisions in our nation.
Pray for the individuals who are being directly impacted by the genocide and violence in Gaza.
Pray for our healthcare workers as cases of COVID are on the rise in our area once again.
