Finch Family Monthly Concert Series
Sunday, May 10th, at 2:00 pm the May concert will feature organist, Stephen King. For the past few years, Stephen has been the organist at Wesley United Methodist Church. Several years ago, he also substituted at Englewood. He has appeared on the series several times and has always presented a wonderful concert. He continues to enjoy sharing his love of organ music through worship services and concert performances. Bring a friend and enjoy this inspirational concert. There is no admission charge, but donations will be accepted.

On the third Tuesday of each month we serve a meal at Camp Hope for our unsheltered neighbors. You can get involved in helping to bring ingredients for this meal, helping to prepare food, and/or serve the meal at 5:30 at Camp Hope. Contact the Church office for more information.

Ladies fellowship will meet every 4th Thursday of each month for Lunch at 11am at The Terraces Cafe 215 N. 40th Ave. Yakima.

NAMI Walks
Englewood hosts NAMI’s local FaithNet meeting each month. This is a meeting that explores the intersection of faith and mental health in our community, seeks to build partnerships, share resources, and develop collaboration. Rainbow Bingo Brunch
Join us on Saturday, June 13th, for a Rainbow bingo brunch to raise funds for our friends at Yakima Pride.
Tickets are $25 each and will include one Bingo card. Additional cards can be purchased for $5 each.
The event will be held here at Englewood in the Fellowship Hall.

Our Pastor Rev. Dr. Christie Love completed her Doctoral Work at Eden Theological Seminary where she focused her study on religious trauma. She has a deep passion for supporting those who have had negative religious experiences and has experience in creating resources and programs that support processing and growing from these unique traumas.
The goal of this group is to provide support and cultivate an empathic and understanding environment focused on healing. Anyone in the Yakima Valley who has been harmed by faith-based systems, relationships, teachings, or experiences is welcome to join us.

Finch Family Monthly Concert Series
Sunday, April 12th, at 2:00 pm the April concert will feature Englewood’s own Julie Finch soprano, along with baritone, John Vergin and pianist, Carol Hartoon presenting a program of duets and solo works. Julie and Carol live in the Seattle area, but were both raised at Englewood and are delighted to have the opportunity to share their talents once again with their church family. John lives in Portland but is originally from Toppenish and has maintained ties to the Yakima Valley not only through his personal friendships but with performances on this series as a vocalist, organist, and pianist. He is also an accomplished composer, and this concert will feature three of his pieces. Bring a friend and share this inspirational program. There is no admission charge, but donations will be accepted.

Coffee and Questions
Coffee and Questions will meet once a month after church during coffee hour in the Fireside Room. The purpose of this group will be to talk about recent sermons, thoughts about faith, and questions around theology. All ages are invited to attend and join into the discussion.

Finch Family Monthly Concert Series
Sunday, March 15th, at 2:00pm the March concert will feature Bobby Collins on the French Horn with Cassie Fry on the piano. Bobby studied French Horn with Jeffrey Snedeker at Central WA University, and he is the assistant conductor of the Yakima Symphony Orchestra. Their program will present composers from the Black, Indigenous and People of Color communities. Bring a friend and share this inspirational program. The program is free, but donations are accepted.
