9-14-25 Announcements

Hello everyone! Today was a historic day at Englewood, as it was the first day that we hosted not one weekly worship service... but two! The Unitarian Universalist Church of Yakima hosted their first service in our building today and everything went smoothly for both faith communities.

We even had the chance to get to know each other during our shared coffee hour where the UU church hosted and provided treats as a thank you for opening our building to them.

We are excited to have this opportunity to be good stewards of our space and to strengthen our partnership with this like-minded, progressive faith community!

I am including a few pictures of our new shared space in the Fellowship Hall so that if you have not been to the building recently, you can see the changes and improvements that we have made to accommodate the UU church.

Meanwhile, in our service this week, we finished up our 4-week exploration of our Disciples of Christ Mission Statement: We are a movement of peace in a fragmented world. If you were not able to join us in person, you can use the buttons below to listen to our conversation about "The World".
