UU Church Update

For many months we have been talking about starting to share our building with the 1st Unitarian Universalist Church. I share this update today during service:

The UU Church has moved into the building. All of their stuff is either behind one of the curtains in the fellowship hall, in their new storage closet on the Fellowship Hall stage, or in their office (our old library).

Their first service is next week. They will meet at 10 AM so we just need to be mindful of that when we are entering the building.

A few other things to remember

  • Sandwich ministry - just be mindful of your volume and make sure the doors to the Fellowship Hall are closed.

  • Coffee before service will be in the fireside room.

Today, in preparation for their first service next week, our kids moved out of the Fellowship Hall and are now meeting down the hall to shared classroom space with Montessori. We have access to classrooms now which will allow us to divide the younger and older kids... if we have enough volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering with our Kid's Connection, reach out to Karissa

Next week the UU church will be serving us treats during our coffee hour as a chance for us to all get to know each other. I encourage everyone to participate and introduce yourself to our new ministry partners!

Please keep in mind that everything new has some kinks so have some patience and grace as we work this out. But both of us are very excited at this new partnership and the wise way that we can share resources, space, and collaborate in serving our community!

Joys and Concerns

Be praying for those impacted by the wildfires in our state and by the smoke as well.

Upcoming Events to Connect
