Announcements
1. We are celebrating that our Wide Welcome vote last Sunday was an overwhelming, unanimous yes vote! We are excited to continue to do the work to help us lean into this culture that we are working to continue to deepen here at Englewood.
2. Tuesday is our monthly Camp Hope meal. Volunteers and food donations are still needed! If you are able and willing to assist with this outreach, please reach out to Sandi Vogel or Kathy Schultz.
3. Thursday is Juneteenth. Our church office will be closed in honor of this important holiday. Please keep this in mind this week if you need anything from the office or our staff.
4. Friday night is our first Outdoor Community Movie Night at 8:30 PM. We will be watching The Rookie in the back lawn near the playground. Plan to bring a lawn chair or blanket and join us for this fun evening event!
5. Englewood will be participating in Yakima Pride on Saturday, June 21st. You can register to walk in the parade with us or help out at our booth by clicking here. If you have any questions about this community connection, please reach out to me!
Joys and Concerns
Lot of people are vacationing and traveling to see family this weekend. We hope that your trips are safe and enjoyable!
We continue to hold Kathy Helseth in our thoughts and prayers. She has finished her first round of treatment and is now waiting for her MRI to help determine next steps.
Ronnie Grey is continuing to heal and make progress at Good Samaritan.
There are several in our faith community working to heal from injuries this week, we are thinking of them and hoping that they feel better soon!
As always, if you need anything this week or there is any way that I can support you- please reach out to me.
Blessings,
Christie
