We gathered today for our weekly worship service and dug into the third week of our conversation on Justice. We talked about the forward-looking nature of justice and continued exploring what the Hebrew Bible says about justice. 2. Montessori has asked that we remind all caregivers to please make sure that during coffee hour (or any other time) that kids are not climbing on the top of playground equipment. I have placed signs on the playground doors as a reminder, but I'd appreciate your help reminding kids.
3. Next week, the Fellowship Hall carpets will be getting steam cleaned. Please avoid this room during the week so that they can dry.

Upcoming Events
Our workday in White Swan will be on Saturday, October 3rd from 9 AM to noon. We will be working on: assembling a handicap accessible ramp, cutting down a tree, pressure washing a deck and picnic tables, repairing the deck and building a new handrail, and possibly some other small projects if we have enough volunteers!
If you are interested in helping on this day, please either email me to say that you are planning to come or sign up at the Welcome Desk. This will help us plan projects.
