Today during our weekly worship service, we continued our theme for the month of August: Faith Practices.

We focused on prayer today and explored deeply the revolutionary example of prayer that Scripture records Jesus giving, which we often call The Lord's Prayer.

Ministry Council meets virtually this Tuesday at 6:30 PM. If you are a part of this team, you should have received an email from me with a link. If you need the link, please let me know.

This Wednesday at 11:30 AM is the next NAMI FaithNet meeting in the Library here at Englewood. We will be talking about Self-Care and lunch will be provided.

Joys and Concerns

- Please keep Erin and Timmy, whose house totally burned in the Spokane fire.

- Keep the first responders and firefighters across our state in your prayers.

- Continue to pray for our neighbors impacted by fires through home losses, property damage, evacuations, etc...
