5/17/26 Announcements (Copy)

This past Sunday, we continued our May worship series on mental health by discussing the importance of relationships and positive community in our lives. We honored Pentecost by exploring the relational roots of the early church and the unique way that they built a support network.

Upcoming Events

This coming Friday evening (5/29), Connection Groups 2 and 4 have planned activities here at the church!

Connection group 2 will be having a craft night in the Fireside Room. They will have a light dinner while we paint. If you’re able, please bring a finger food, salad, or another easy-to-share dish—anything you enjoy and would like to share.

Connection Group 4 will be having a BBQ on the back lawn near the playground. There will be outdoor games set up for everyone to enjoy together! If you can bring a side dish to share, that would be great- if not, still plan to join us!

Joys and Concerns

Both Sue Scott and Sandi Vogel are recovering well from their hip surgeries. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes.

Please keep Ronnie Grey in your prayers as he has had some additional health struggles recently.

Kathy Schultz had been dealing with numerous health issues for the last month. She is feeling better and asked that I share this letter with each of you, expressing her appreciation for the support she received while she was ill:

A Love note to My ECC Family

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for all the
cards and phone calls. They have helped lift me up as I deal with
a frustrating medical situation.

I am improving day by day with the symptoms dissipating. I’m
working to accept that we may never know what triggered this.
But thanks to God and all of you, it is beginning to fade in the
rear-view mirror. My heart is full of love for all of you!

As always, if you need anything this week or there is any way that I can support you- please reach out to me.

Blessings,

Christie
