4/26/26 Announcements

We finished up our April theme of Change yesterday with a conversation about "Being the Change you Want to see in the World."

This was an important discussion that shared many upcoming connection points here at Englewood in the coming months. I strongly encourage you to take time to watch this service back if you were not able to join us in person!

Watch Sunday's Service Back

This Week's Announcements

Next Sunday will be our monthly first Sunday potluck, and we hope you will plan to join us for good food and the chance to build relationships with others. If you are new to Englewood, Christie will be hosting a conversation in the Fireside Room during the potluck to help answer your questions about our faith community and share ways to begin to get more involved. Simply make your plate and then come and join her if you are interested in learning more.

On Saturday, May 30th, Englewood will be participating in the NAMI Walks event to raise awareness and funds for mental health in our community. We are building a team to walk and raise funds, and we also need people to help run our ECC table/booth. Please sign up if you are interested in being involved. You can also donate to our ECC NAMI Walk team by speaking with Christie.

Kid's Connection Expanding in May

This coming Sunday we will have two expanded opportunities for Kid's Connection.

Infants 0-age 3 can connect to our new nursery space that will be inside of the Englewood office suite. Children can be checked in straight to the room starting at 10:30 AM.

Middle School and High School students: there will be a connection table for you all set up to have lunch together during potluck to learn more about a new weekly connection time for this age group each week after service.

May Connection Group Rotations

Those who are regularly involved in our faith community are placed in one of four connection groups. These groups rotate different roles each month as a way to meet needs and to build relationships with one another.

If you are not sure which group you are assigned to, click here to see our group lists for 2025-2026.

If you are currently not in a Connection Group and would like to be added to one, please respond to this email and let me know!

Joys and Concerns

Please keep Curtis Young in your thoughts and prayers this week as he is returning from his mission trip to Cuba.

Lyn Love has been having some health struggles. Please keep them in mind this week.

Several members of our ECC faith community will be attending the Regional Assembly this coming weekend in Kennewick. Keep them in mind this week as they gather to connect and make decisions for the Northern Lights region of churches.
