Today was a unique day at Englewood. It was the final week of our joint series with Wesley United Methodist Church called Exploring Forgiveness. This week, Pastor Shane Moore from Wesley and I switched places to talk about the hardest person to forgive... ourselves.

Responding to Events in Minnesota
Like many of you, my heart has been heavy watching the events in Minneapolis, MN, over the last few weeks. Last night, as I was wrestling with my emotions about the death of Alex Pretti, I shared some thoughts on my personal Facebook page.

1. This Wednesday, I will be hosting a Zoom discussion about episode one of the documentary series The West by Ken Burns. This is part of our 2026 Wide Welcome focus on honoring the historical relationship between religion and our indigenous neighbors. If you are interested in participating, you can watch the episode on PBS.org or YouTube and email me for the Zoom link.
2. Reminder that next Sunday is our monthly first Sunday potluck right after service. Also, during that time, I will be having a conversation with people who are new to Englewood so that you can learn more about who we are and how to get more connected. I would love for you to join me!
