Hello everyone,
I took this Sunday off to spend time with family and David Helseth led worship. I have no doubt that it was a beautiful and powerful service and message.
I scheduled this week's follow up to go out before Christmas so to see the link to today's service you will need to visit either our Youtube Channel or our Facebook page.
We had some people ask if we could make an edit of just the sermon from today so that they could share it with friends. You can find that video on our YouTube channel by clicking here.
Today's Announcements
A huge thank you to all of you who participated in our holiday outreaches! Together we collected 41 coats for the Yakima School District, provided Christmas gifts for three families impacted by deportation in our community, and we collected food donations for St. Micheals Food Pantry and the Yakima Community Aid group. We appreciate all the ways that you helped us to love out loud this holiday season.
Reminder that our staff is working from home this upcoming week, so if you have a need at the building please contact Dawn or Christie before coming up.
Next Sunday we will conclude our Advent season with the celebration of Epiphany, we invite you to join us for this service.
Next month our Connection Group rotations will be:
Group 1 will host coffee hour and potluck
Group 2 will prepare and serve our meal at Camp Hope
Group 3 will be making sandwiches before service each Sunday
Group 4 will be going Roller Skating.
If you are not involved in a Connection Group and would like to be, please respond to this email and let me know. I will get you added to start the new year!
