Rev. Dr. Christie Love
SENIOR PASTOR
Christie Love holds a Master’s Degree in Practical Theology from Regent Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from Eden Theological Seminary. She specializes in the research and study of the intersections of faith, religious trauma, and mental health.
She regularly writes about trauma-informed ministry practices and religious trauma on her Substack
Christie is an ordained minister through The Disciples of Christ. She published her first book, God of the Gaps, through Morgan James Publishing in April 2021.
Locally, Christie also serves as the Vice President of the NAMI Yakima Board, Co-Chair of the Yakima Association of Faith Communities, Chair of the Yakima Immigrant Response Faith Workgroup.
Christie is married to Bob, and together, they have four adult children and three spoiled dogs. They relocated to the Yakima Valley from SW Missouri to serve at Englewood Christian Church in 2024.
