Sandwich Ministry
Every Sunday morning volunteers gather to make 200 peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches that are delivered to Camp Hope and distributed to the homeless and hungry in Yakima.
We will gladly take donations of bread, peanut butter or jelly as well as sandwich bags. If you’ would like to help make sandwiches on Sunday , meet at the church at 10am.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Volunteers knit or crochet shawls to provide comfort for people who need prayers. A shawl is requested, the finished shawl is passed through the congregation to be blessed or offer a prayer for the person named. Should you wish to share your talents by knitting or crocheting these shawls, directions and yarn is available on a table near the church office. You can also help by donating yarn. Gilbert Elementary School Backpacks
This special program provides extra food assistance on the weekends to students at Gilbert who may not have enough food at home. The school identifies the students and provides the backpacks.
Our volunteers provide the food, fill the backpacks and deliver them to the school every Friday through the school year.
Food and monetary donations are welcomed. Contact the church office with questions (509) 966-6550.
